Brantford's ideal location along the banks of a Canadian Heritage river is a traveler's delight. From springtime through autumn, the Grand River offers canoeing, rafting, hiking or fishing adventures and Brantford's gardens and parks vibrate with colour.

In 1874, Alexander Graham Bell invented the telephone at the Bell Homestead National Historic Site, one of Brantford's many significant heritage sites.

Local First Nations heritage, through stories, music, and culture are offered at the 17th Century Kanata Iroquois Village, Woodland Cultural Centre, Chiefswood National Historic site and Her Majesty's Chapel of the Mohawks (1785).

Festivals include the Six Nations Champion of Champion's Pow Wow, Riverfest, Applefest or the International Villages Festival.

The new Brantford Charity Casino offers gaming entertainment - 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
