Ontario Place is an entertainment attraction on the shores of Lake Ontario. The park itself consists of three beautifully landscaped man-made islands. Since its inception in 1971 buildings and attractions have been added, making it a world-class destination with an emphasis on family entertainment. There is a marina and a concert theatre and a host of children’s activities. Ontario Place has plenty of rides and attractions, including the world's first permanent IMAX movie theatre, the Cinesphere.
