Halton Hills is a town located within the Greater Toronto area. Halton Hills is an amalgamated community consisting of the urban centres of Acton, Ashgrove, Georgetown, Glen Williams, Hornby, Limehouse, Manselwood, Milton Heights, Norval, Scotch Block, Silver Creek, Speyside, Stewarttown and Wildwood. Parts of the Niagara Escarpment and the Bruce Trail can be found in Halton Hills. The Halton Region Museum is situated in the picturesque Kelso Conservation Area, and gives visitors an opportunity to explore Halton’s natural and cultural heritage. Museum site was a pioneer homestead founded by the Alexander Family in 1836. The museum contains over 35,000 artifacts reflecting Halton’s history from prehistoric times to the present day.
