Virgil, Ontario is a town in the Niagara Peninsula, just a short distance south west of Niagara-on-the-Lake. The area is well known for its fruit production and wineries which are both abundant in the area. Virgil has a large Mennonite population and several Mennonite churches can be found in the town. There are also several fine dining establishments as well as several antique stores.
