Smithville is a small village in the township of West Lincoln between Hamilton and Niagara Falls. It is largely an agricultural community and is well known for its dairy and poultry production.
The community holds a fall fair on the Labour Day weekend every year. The village of Smithville is also home to a large number of churches of many different denominations, as well as a small department store and several restaurants.
