Feversham Ontario attracted many settlers in the mid 1800’s due in part to the numerous mills that dotted the riverbanks. Today visitors to this tiny hamlet can experience the unsurpassed beauty of the area by visiting Feversham Gorge Conservation Area. The gorge extends down over the Beaver River and its vertical limestone walls, towering 24.4 meters (80 feet) over the river.
The Beaver River is a spring fed river. For this reason it is a natural habitat for Brook Trout. Excellent water quality has also made Feversham the source for President's Choice brand spring water sold in Ontario.
