Backus Heritage Conservation Area
From Toronto: Take the Q.E.W. west to Highway 403. Turn south on Hwy. 6. Go through Port Dover, then turn south on Hwy. 24. Follow for 20 km. Turn left at the sign and follow for 3 km. Turn right on Regional Road 42. Entrance is up 1km on the right.
From Buffalo: Take Hwy. 3 west to Simcoe. Turn left at Hwy. 24. Follow Hwy. 24 south and continue as above.
From Windsor: Take Hwy. 401 east to Hwy. 19 South. In Tillsonburg take Hwy. 3, east for 6 km. Turn south on Hwy. 59. Follow for 25 km. Turn left at the sign. Follow Concession 2 for 3 km to entrance on left.
Deer Creek Conservation Area
Located south of Langton on regional Road #45, (about 1 mile west off Hwy 59)
Haldimand Conservation Area
Haldimand Conservation Area is located just west of Selkirk along South Coast Drive
Norfolk Conservation Area
located 1.6 km west of Port Ryerse on the Lakeshore Road (exit off Hwy 24 south at Kitchen Road)
Lee Brown Waterfowl Conservation Area
Brook Conservation Area
Brook Conservation Area is located on the Lynn River in the southeast corner of the Town of Simcoe
Charles Sauriol Conservation Area
Charles Sauriol Conservation Area is a 60 hectare (148 acre) parcel of former agricultural land adjacent to Backus Heritage Conservation Area is the site of the Long Point Region Conservation Authority's Carolinian Forest Regeneration Project. |
